Anti- Bullying
A couple of days before our final class, two girls came in and presented a presentation on Anti-Bullying. First I just wanted to point out on how well prepared the girls were and the confidence they showed. The girls came out and wanted us to say something personal about our lives and I was surprised on how many people didn’t skip their turn and opened up to strangers. The next thing the girls asked was to raise our hands if we were ever bullied and if we were ever the bully. Not only did almost everyone raise their hands for being bulled but the same number went up for the people who were the bullies. The one game we played was “the line game”; the line game is where a line is drawn in the middle of the room, and when someone asks a question and it applies to you, you step on the line. If you have seen the movie the freedom writers they have performed this game in the movie. Question that were asked seem to progress throughout the game as becoming more personal. We went from, do we live on or off campus, did we ever bully, did we ever change to fit in, if we were ever caught doing something wrong and so on. The game really stood out to me because I knew I wasn’t alone and there are other people going through the same stuff as I am. Also it was an eye opener to see some of the stuff your classmates have been through. After “the line game” the girls showed us a video. The video was scenes of writing on different people’s hands. The first couple of senses were of things people were bullied for and how it affected them. A couple were for being different, gay, big, ugly, and others were about wanting to never come back or to wake up. This hit me deeply because last year a kid at my school committed suicide because he was being bullied. It was a big shock to the kids at my school because either we didn’t know, or we didn’t try and stop the teasing. The next couple of scenes were the same hands but this time they were telling us how they overcame the bullying. This also hit me deeply because if I knew the bullying was going on to this freshman maybe I could have walked him through his tough times. Finally after the short video was over, papers were passed around with a name at the top. We had to write at least one nice thing about the person and pass it on. After receiving mine it was nice to see what my classmates thought of me. All in all the presentation was very good. It helped me realize that bullying is still very big and we need to do something about it. Also everyone has obstacles and that you need to talk to people so they can help you through it.

The future is here!!!!!!!
Going to college in 2041 will be a great time. Waking up by an alarm clocking floating in your face and having a touch screen closet to pick out your clothes is what i see the future as. In college i feel everything will be touch screen and it will be an easy time for the fellow student. Walking down stair will still be the same with stairs but when the bus arrives it is floating. When the bus gets ready to float on it will have boost to make its time quicker. Getting around to class will having a helping hand with segways. segways will be a part of an everyday lifestyle and have a built in iPod connector so you can listen to your favorite tunes while on a segway. I feel the computer will still be there and have the same use; just faster processing and voice activating commands. I also feel like Apple will take over technology and everything will have an I in front of it (iPod, iPad, iPhone). All homework will be online and texts books would no longer exist. Language classes will be taught through skyping; your teacher will be a person from that country. Our lives will become more lazy and i feel obesity will get bigger and maybe become the new "cool look", like from the movie Wall-E. 2041 is something i look forward to but also something I am nervous about. 2041 "The Apple World."

Fatty False
An effective ad to me is one where is catches the viewers eye. When iI am looking for a product I always look for the most in expensive brand but is still very useful. Some strategy's are using things that are most popular in this time of day, or catching the viewers eye by showing something no one has seen before. To me i am not persuaded by celebrity advertisement..... they are just like us, they do not make a product better, it is still the same chocolate bar or drink. Some jingle get stuck in my head, but most of the time when someone uses a jingle it is a corny commercial.

Going to these restaurants I do not get what is on t.v. They show false advertising for us to come and eat their food. Making there food cheaper menas to have an affect on how they make there food. Having a dollar menu or fourth meal makes it easier for us to consume more fatty foods than we should. Fast food restaurants use false advertising to draw us to there place.

Thank Gosh Space is Big
I did not expect my earths to be a lot and I did not expect me to be that wasteful. After looking through other blogs i felt shocked to see that my number was more than most. 6.6 Earths it would take to contain my life and 29.2 global acres. :0 the 2 biggest thing in my ecological footprint was food and service. I think flying from 10-25 hours on a plane each year killed me. The things i could change is maybe not taking food for granted and eat less at each meal. Also I could take fewer trips and vacations or car pool to places.

Hey, my name is Lex Austin Krautheim, I am 19 years old and I am from a small city called Land O' Lakes near Tampa. I am a International Business major with a minor in German. I hope to work for BWM or Volkswagen that have relations with Germany. I have lived in Florida my whole life and have only moved once. I am Baptist and love being around my church. I have been going to First Baptist of Lutz my whole life and I go on many mission trips. I have been all the way south to Puerto Rico and all the way North to Kentucky. I am the youngest of 3 kids. I have 2 older sisters, Krystal who is 27 and Jillian who is 25. I have a pretty big family between cousins and aunts and uncles so we do a lot together.
I have been playing soccer for 16 years and have been swimming for 8. I have been to 7 schools, 3 elementary, 2 middle schools, and 2 high schools all in a 30 minute radius. If you ask any of my friends where is the one place I would want to be, they would tell you Germany. I am in love with Germany. I love the food, the atmosphere, the soccer, the people, and their way of life. I have been to Germany twice and I cant wait to go back. Some of my favorite things: I love steak and crab legs. I am absolutely addicted to DR.Pepper, I get headaches if I don't have one. I love traveling and being at the beach. I love comedy movies, dumb and dumber and beerfest are my favorite movies. Jim carry is my favorite actor and Daniel Tosh is my favorite comedian. I love Family Guy, south park, futurama, tosh.o, and jersey shore. I like to quote things from movies and see if people can guess where its from.
"You sold my dead bird to a blind kid?" anyone know what movie???
I am a very easy guy to get along with because I am a positive person and I can make people smile easily when they are not in the best of moods. I love cracking jokes and being sarcastic, so try to not take offensive to what i say because I probably don't mean it. I do not like to dissapoint people so i say yes to a lot of things. (If you have seen the movie yes man, i'm kinda like that) If anyone needs something, I always try to help out so Find me on Facebook I know you wont regret it!
